Cualquier persona que me conoce un poquito sabe que siempre he sido un gran admirador del maestro Gerardo N\u00fa\u00f1ez. Aparte de ser un guitarrista con una t\u00e9cnica fuera de este mundo, sus composiciones siempre han sido muy personales, con un sonido a \u00e9l, cosa que no hay que pasar desapercibida. Podr\u00eda hablar de afinaciones, fusiones, y mil cosas m\u00e1s que ha hecho, pero m\u00e1s que hablar, espero que esto sirva para que busquen su m\u00fasica y les sea tan inspirador como la ha sido para m\u00ed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Me motiv\u00e9 en hacer este arreglo, ya que un amigo me coment\u00f3 que normalmente trato de “mostrarme” tocando la guitarra nada m\u00e1s, y no explotando alguna otra cosa que sepa hacer. Soy muy aficionado tambi\u00e9n al MIDI, y a hacer m\u00fasica con el ordenador, a los samples, efectos, loops y todo eso; as\u00ed que en vez de salir tocando un tema que nunca podr\u00e9 tocar ni cercanamente de bien como su compositor, decid\u00ed hacer una versi\u00f3n un poco m\u00e1s personal, con todo el debido respeto. Anyone who knows me a little knows that I have always been a great admirer of the master Gerardo N\u00fa\u00f1ez. Apart from being a guitarist with a technique out of this world, his compositions have always been very personal, with a sound to him, which should not be overlooked. I could talk about tunings, fusions, and a thousand other things he has done, but more than talking, I hope that this video will help encourage you to look for his music and be as inspiring as it has been for me.
I was motivated to make this arrangement since a friend told me that I usually try to “show” myself only playing the guitar, and not exploiting anything else that I know how to do. I am also very fond of MIDI, and of making music on the computer, of samples, effects, loops, and all those things; so instead of going out playing a song that I will never be able to play even as well as its composer, I decided to make a slightly more personal version, with all due respect.
